Obituary of James Saville
James “Jim” Saville, age 89, of Newport Richey, FLA, formerly of Aston, PA, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was a US Army Air Corps Veteran, who served during WWII from 1944 to 1947. Mr. Saville was employed at Klose Brothers in Chester, PA, for 33 years, until retiring in 1984. Jim also worked at the Media Florist and was also the Superintendent at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Aston, PA, retiring in 1993.
Jim was a devoted member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, where he was very involved in numerous committees. He was a life member of both Keystone Fire Chiefs Association and Delaware County Fireman’s Association. Jim was a former Aston Twp. Fire Marshall and Past Fire Chief of Aston Beechwood Fire Company. Mr. Saville was a member of the Aston Twp. Lions Club. Jim was friendly and was always eager to help others. He enjoyed his home in Florida and especially cherished spending time with his family.
He was the son of the late Norman and Annie Holdsworth Saville; brother to the late Edith Richardson, Annie Beuley and Dorothy DeNofio and uncle to the late Kathlleen Brandenburg

Wife of 64 years: Arlene Achuff Saville
Daughters: Judy Williams of Shamokin, PA, Norma Jean Saville of Claymont, DE and Donna M. (Jim) Selfridge of Pedricktown, NJ
Sons: James N. "Jesse" (Lisa) Saville of Middleburg, PA and David Saville of Aston, PA
