Obituary of Kermit J. Singer

Kermit J. Singer of Miramar, Florida, formerly of Middletown Twp., PA, died suddenly on January 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Tryon and Grace Singer of Middletown, Delaware County, PA, and two brothers, Tryon of Janesville, WI, and Carlton of Sarasota, FL. Mr Singer attended Rose Tree Media Schools and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Singer was retired from Miami Aviation. Prior to moving to Florida to pursue a career in aviation, he operated Abel's Garage in Elwyn, PA for many years. He is survived by his wife Louise McFaddin Singer, his sister Sandra K. Rigby of Media, PA. In addition he is survived by nieces Kimberly Singer-Gourley of Janesville, WI, Kimberly Singer-Shearer of Cortez, FL, Sandra Singer-Staiger of Chadds Ford, PA, Amanda Singer-Durland of S. Williamsport, PA, and nephews William Rigby of Media, PA, Thomas Singer of Yorktown, VA and Carlton Singer, Jr. of Sarasota FL. A military funeral was held at the national Veterans Cemetery of South Florida in Lake Worth on February 5, 2016. A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N. Middletown Rd., Lima, PA 19037
