Obituary of Richard L. Weaver

Richard L. Weaver, age 53, of Media, PA, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. He was a 1980 graduate of Penncrest High School, where he was an athlete in both football and basketball. He attended Drexel University and Widener University. Richard was the President of US Environmental, Downingtown, PA. Richard was generously giving of not only his time, but of himself. He was a devoted member of St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in Media, PA, where he was a Sunday School Teacher and was newly elected as Treasurer on the Parish Council. A selfless person, Richard was involved with the Philadelphia Power Play. He was bigger than life and enjoyed entertaining at his home with barbecues and sharing his amazing cooking skills. Being a season ticket holder, Richard was an enthusiastic EAGLES fan. Most of all, Richard adored and was devoted to his daughter, Natalie. He was the son of the late Joseph S. and Barbara A. (Simpers) Weaver, Jr., father of the late Lowell and Heather Weaver. Survivors: Daughter: Natalie M.
