Obituary of Anne "Nancy" Melanson

Anne “Nancy” (Nichol) Melanson, age 84, of Maris Grove, Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Riddlewood, Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Maris Grove Retirement Community. Nancy graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA, in 1949 and was married to William “Bill” Melanson in 1954. They remained happily married for 55 years until Bill’s passing in 2009, living in the neighborhood they loved, Riddlewood. Nancy worked in the Emergency Department at Riddle Hospital and had taught at Notre Dame High School. She also volunteered as an EMT with Lima Ambulance Company as well as volunteering with a local hospice organization and St. Francis de Sales School. Nancy was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, cross stitch, vacations at the Jersey shore and everything about Christmas.
