Obituary of Jean Lavery Bonney

Jean Lavery Bonney, age 89, of Aston Twp., PA, died Monday, April 4, 2016, at Compassionate Care Hospice, Wilmington, DE. Jean was born in Media, PA, and graduated from Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA. Jean was employed as a bookkeeper with Aston Twp., PA, and then in her later years, worked at Wawa Corporate offices in the cafeteria. Devoted to her faith, Mrs. Bonney was a parishioner at the Church of St. Francis De Sales, Lenni, PA. Jean was talented and enjoyed crocheting quilts, afghans and doilies. Most of all, Jean cherished spending time with her family and friends. Daughter of the late Greg and Theresa Lavery; wife of 59 years to the late John J. Bonney, who died in 2004; sister of the late James Lavery, Frances Fiorito and Charlotte Davies; grandmother of the late Jonathan Jump and mother-in-law of the late Terrance Hughes Survivors: Daughters: Eileen (Bruce) Watson, Jeanne (Sark) Hughes and Karen (Jonathan) Jump Sisters: Anne Dotts and Barbara Lettery 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren Funeral Mass: Friday at 2:00PM at the Church of St. Francis De Sales, 35 New Rd, Aston, PA 19014 Visitation: Friday after 1:00PM at the church Interment: will be at the adjoining churchyard In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Compassionate Care Hospice, 405 E.
