Obituary of Robert L. Wallace, Jr.

Robert L. (Rob) Wallace, Jr., age 54, of Middletown Twp., PA, died suddenly on May 2, 2017, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Upland, PA., Rob had been a resident of Aston Twp., PA, West Chester, PA and most recently Middletown Township, PA. He was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Class of 1981. He later attended Widener University, West Chester University and graduated from Neumann University with a BS in Nursing. Rob had been employed by Riddle Memorial Hospital in Radiology and formerly in the Emergency Room for the past 15 years. He had previously been employed by the DuPont Company for 15 years at their experimental station, where he had been granted four US patents.

Rob was a member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church in Aston, PA.  An avid outdoorsman, Rob was a member of the Delaware County Field and Stream. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, camping outdoors and spending time at the beach with family.

He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. Rob was also a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Survivors: Wife, Tara Clarke Wallace

Children: Kaitlin (Harrison) Bradley, Kierstin (Matt) Butts and Samantha Wallace.

Parents: Robert and Shirley Greenwalt Wallace, Sr.

Sister: Dr. Wendy (Gary Varney) Wallace

Mother and Father-in-law: Joseph and Constance Clarke

Former wife and mother of his children: Ann Marie (Sandra) Cirillo-Creekmore

Nieces: Olivia, Kylie, Adeline and Isabella

Nephews: Stone, Robert and Cole

His beloved dogs: Reagan and Maddie

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 10th at 11:00AM at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, Lamp Post Lane, Aston, PA 19014.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 9th, from 6:00-8:00PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063 and Wednesday, May 10th after 10:00AM at the Church.

Interment:  Privale.
