I worked with John at Delaware County community college in Media. He was my executive chef and worked miracles with food. I would stare and marvel at how he could make something out of nothing and “rescue” my food mistakes in the nick of time. Though I only worked with him about a year, I am amazed at how often I still think of him. He was a wonderful teacher and friend. His witty manner, blank stares, and incessant energy made our difficult situation there to be downright fun. You know something of the character of a person by how much of a positive impact they make on your life when you only know them even a short while. I thank the Lord for sending John my way.
