Condolences
Dotti will always be remembered as an outstanding teacher and libraian. I had the pleaseure of working with her for several years. She was an efficient, understanding and compassionate teacher. She had the unique ability to engage her students in the learning process. I could always count on her to arrange any activity requested. Her family should be very proud of her-- she was truly an outstanding woman, mother, spouse and friend.
An angel got her wings. I am so sorry for the Rodgers family's loss. Darth, You raised a wonderful family and you will be so missed by those that loved you. You will live on through your sons and grandchildren. I am sure you are with Crystal In heaven, watch over all of Us, you will not be forgotten. Rest in peace & love.
Dotti and I were always close even though we did not see each other the last several years. It sounds funny that I
was her step-mother and we were the same age. We were good friends and our family blended as one when I married her dad who as you could tell was older than me. We were married happily for 22 years.
We were alot alike, both of us
have battled breast cancer. You fought the battle for quite awhile and now thankfully there is no more fighting, pain or suffering. Rest in peace and say HI to your Dad.
Dottie was a wonderful friend and neighbor to our mother, Mary Riddle. She and her family are part of our extended family and we send our sympathies to all.
Uncle George, George, Chris, and Ryan; Words can not describe how sorry and how saddened we are about Aunt Dott. Many of my happiest memories growing up incorporated Aunt Dott and I will always cherish them, from day trips to Disney, to just lounging in the pool. She was like a second mom to me. Her infectious smile, and her giggle will remain close to my heart forever. I am so thankful to have had her in my life and will truly miss her. I can only hope that my closest girl friends and I share the friendship that my mom and Aunt Dott shared for 40+ years, we will all miss her.
Dotti touched a lot of lives
I'm sure you're not surprised
She is a kind and generous soul
Love apparent in her eyes.
She looked to comfort others
Rarely speaking of her pain
A smile at the ready
To chase away the rain.
She remains within us all
The special gifts she gave
A hug, a smile, a helping hand
To help us ride life's wave.
I am forever grateful
That I got a chance to meet
The shining light who has gone home
To teach little angels... at her feet.
