Condolences
Alice, you have my deepest sympathies during this very difficult time. I have loved getting to know both you and Lester. Over the last few years, I have had a few conversations with Lester about his military service in Italy during WWII, and was fascinated by the stories he told of his time in the US Army. My dad was in the US Army as well, and I was taught to respect veterans for what they sacrificed. I wish that I could have talked to him more about it. I have been keeping you and your family in my prayers. A big virtual on-line hug now and hopefully, a real one when we can meet in person again after this pandemic ends. God bless your family at this time.
Lester was loved by our group, he loved to tell stories about his faith! We'll see you again someday Lester RIP
Lester graced our men’s fellowship with his wit and wisdom. He will be very missed
Our love and God peace that passes understanding be poured out to dear Alice and lesters family

My prayers are with you, Alice, and to your wonderful family. Brother Lester touched our men's group deeply with his faith and wisdom. His smile, wit, and uniquely hearty laugh are so greatly missed. Lester's advice and example has made me a better man, a better husband and father, a better follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lester is at peace. Lester is home. No more need for a cane to walk, my friend-brother-mentor! You're dancing! Let us rejoice in the promises of our Ever-living God and Father.
