Aunt Margaret was a special lady to a lot of people! Tim use to talk about Aunt Margaret and how she was such a good cook! We loved going over there on Thanksgiving evening for desserts! She has loads of sweets! All kinds of relatives were there and friends! Her and Uncle Walt were very special to Tim and I!
Aunt Margaret was so good to my mom after she was widowed. Mom was the beneficiary of her good cooking, as they often had her over to dinner. Aunt Marg also had a beautiful singing voice and I can still picture her up In the choir loft. Her handmade “Jesus” sign still hangs in my living room. I was fortunate to witness the loving care that my cousins Sue and Shirl gave to her during the difficult time of her illness- a sure sign that she was indeed very much loved.
Loved her , after choir practice we all went to Tom Jones and had coffee grilled cinnamon buns with chocolate ice cream. We got in trouble a few times for laughing.
Margaret was my sister-in-law for 63 years. There are so many memories of family gatherings shared, tons of pictures sent to me when her daughters were born (I lived in another state), sometimes Christmas dinners shared (she was a great cook), and even a while living together in California when Walt was in the Army. So many good memories. Thanks, Sue and Shirl, for such love and caring for your Mom. She was loved, and will truly be missed.
