Condolences
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Dick, my great Uncle.
We are immensely sorry we couldn't be there, as we just found out today.
Another member of the greatest generation lost to us but never forgotten.
We are blessed to be part of his family, I still use the tea pot he and Aunt Elda gave us as a wedding shower gift 21 years ago.
Uncle Dick and I had such fun tailgating at the University of Delaware Football games. He was quick to smile and was a pleasure to be with. He is now reunited with his sister, my beloved and greatly missed grandmother, Libby Carry. Our love to all the Harris family during this difficult time. -

My condolences to the entire Harris family. Over the years I heard many amusing stories about Mr. Harris. It was a pleasure to meet both Mr. and Mrs. Harris in person in Avalon.
Dick, was one of the rarest individuals I have had the honor of volunteering with always willing to share knowledge and work besides you at a fire. The world would be a better place if everyone used him as an example of volunteering and life.
Happy trials Dick you will be missed. Condolences to all the family.
No one knew his age. He walked ,talked and acted alot younger. He was a pleasure to be around as he lighted up the scene or the back room of Station . He along with his son could be counted onto ride together as often as possible. He carried his weight and enjoyed doing what liked doing, riding the red and white of any Fire Dept.
To Daryl. You had a great teacher and companion on your many trips.
My condolences to you and your family
To the family. My Prayers being offer up. Take care Darryl. Walt Meredith
So very sorry for your loss. Although I’ve only met him a couple of times I’ve always enjoyed the stories Larry would share with us..
My whole family loved Mr. Harris. He was not just the person who shared our driveway, he was like a member of our family. We will miss him greatly and are thoughts and prayers are with his family.
It has always been a pleasure and honor to be your neighbor and talking across the fence to the family. Dick and Elna have inspired me with their walks around the neighborhood. I will miss Dick.
