I've been reflecting all week on the influence the McFates had on my life. How lucky was I to become friends with Cecelia at such a young age and be accepted into her family like another daughter. Looking back as an adult, it is quite amazing how generous and trusting they were to me. Bob taught me to water ski, drive his boat and even drive his car home from Maryland when I got my learners permit. More importantly, they both set such a great example of how to live your life to the fullest, with love, happiness, adventure and the ability to not sweat the small stuff. I have tried to live my life this way and pass it on to my kids.
Goodbye sweet dad #2. I will love you forever!
Uncle Bob, you were one of a kind…
You and Aunt Louise treated me as your own.
Your home was a getaway for myself, my sister, and my cousins.
I’ll always remember the unconditional love you gave to all of us.
Thank you for being a wonderful person and making an impact in my life.

Our condolences and deepest sympathies to Cecelia and Joe Guetter, may your memories provide you with comfort.
To my dear friend, Bob: I'll miss reminiscing over our memories of childhood, parenthood, adulthood, and lamenting over old age. Until we meet again, rest in peace, Bob. Give my love to Louise. Deb asked that you say "Hi" to her "Aunt Duweeze" and said that she'll miss your ornery antics.
With much love, Doris and Debra Curl
