I'm very sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. She was kind, generous and loving ... and fun.
She had so much fun with her cousins.
Sincere sympathy of the loss of your sister. May she rest in peace. Prayers for her family.
I am saddened to hear of the passing of my Godmother, Aunt Eleanor. I have many, many fond memories of times spent with her. I’d like to share one I believes illustrates her spunk and her ability to laugh at herself. When I was around 10 years old, my family of 7 took one of our many trips to Philly in a rented RV. While visiting with Aunt Norrie, we spontaneously decided to go to Wildwood. Aunt Norrie came with. On the drive she taught my sister Jam and me how to play 52 Card Pick Up - wicked as she was, laughing as we fell for her joke. As it turned out, the joke was on her. Upon arriving in Wildwood, she realized she hadn’t changed out of her house slippers, and didn’t have shoes to wear. We all had a good laugh at that, none louder than El! She was a sweet and loving aunt. I’ll miss her!
May you Rest In Peace Mrs. Galbraith. I have very fond memories of growing up on Muhlfeld Street. May God Bless. Frank Oakes
My prayers and sympathies are with you and all of the Galbraith family. I too grew up on Muhlfeld street as one of the Oakes clan members, and your Grandmom was one of the sweetest neighbors that anyone could ask for. She always kept me in line, so I would grow up to be a decent citizen who made the right choices, and think of others first, by not being selfish. The world has lost more love with the loss of Mrs. Galbraith. She will be truly missed, but we know she is resting peacefully now with her loved ones from this life.
Kimberly, I'm so sorry for another Love loss with your Grandmom. I have so many years of memories growing up on Muhlfeld street when me and your Dad and Aunt Margie were just little ones. Our families were all so close. I will always remember your time living on Muhlfeld as well with your Dad and siblings. You were always there doing for your sisters and baby brother Jim Jr Jr. You have been the Rock for your family from just a little girl and I'm sure that has not changed to this day. I know your Grandmom relyed on your help with everything and you were always there for and with her. I know she is resting in happy Peace now with your Dad, Brother, Pop, Aunt, and cousin and every one of them will be by your side forever. Stay strong Kim and know that you are always in my prayers, Heart and thoughts. Love you Sweetie
