I have fond memories of Mr and Mrs O’Malley from our Baker drive days as a kid. Mr O’Malley would always be jogging in the morning past us kids on Crump Rd at the bus stop and would “high five us” because he thought we were cool. It always gave me a warm feeling in my heart seeing her and the family at Sunday Mass at Sts Phillip and James bc then I knew I could ask Noreen if she could play after church. LOL. She was always praying for the kids and was an amazing Mother to all us kids in the neighborhood. Moms like her don’t exist today, her life was her kids. God Bless her and the entire O’Malley family.
Marie and Gene were dearest of friends during our many years in Exton. They were truly the hub of the neighborhood and deeply devoted to family, parish and friends.
May Gene be alongside Jesus in welcoming Marie home for good. Blessings and eternal peace. Peter/Peggie Federico
Two if my favorite people in Knob Hill Farm were Gene and Marie. We became fast friends and I loved them both. After Gene’s passing, Marie and I had a date night every Saturday, church and dinner. I treasured those times and missed them when she moved away. Fortunately we stayed in touch and I’m so glad LouElla and I got to spend a wonderful afternoon with her just a few weeks ago. All three of us sensed that it may very well be our last time together, but we kept it upbeat, thanks to Marie’s positivity. God bless her family members who were so good to her. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Betsy
What a huge loss to everyone. Marie always had a smile on her face. She was a lovely person.
Ron and I met Gene and Marie when we moved to Knob Hill in 2005. We knew we would be fast friends and we were. We loved them like we knew them for years. We got to know their family and loved them too. We had an active community and did a lot of
dinners, parties and card games and Marie took part in everything. We also went to church together, she had a strong faith. When
we all moved from Knob Hill see did not see her as much but we never lost touch and got together as much as we could. She was a great lady. We will miss her and the fun we had playing hand and foot card games when we could get together. We are so grateful we had her in our life these last several years. Ron and LouElla Yavorka
