Obituary of Marie A. O'Malley

 

Marie A. O’Malley, “Nana", age, 90, of Douglassville, PA, formerly of Honey Brook, PA, and Exton, PA, died on Friday, December 30, 2022 at home surrounded with family. Marie was born on August 25, 1932.  She graduated from Chestnut Hill College. Marie was employed with Goss & Topp Advertising as a Bookkeeper.

 

Marie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and playing Canasta with her friends. She always took advantage of every opportunity to attend an event for her children and her grandchildren. She was always a part of planning a Baker Drive get-together and enjoyed being a part of many committees while living at Knob Hill. She was a devoted Catholic and was active in her church throughout her life. She considered every day a blessing from God.

 

Predeceased by her husband, Eugene O’Malley, daughter, Christine Beswick, sister, Bette Anne Flick, and parents, Howard and Marie Avil.

 

Survivors:

Son: John O’Malley

Daughters: Noreen Cassner & husband Chad Cassner, Colleen Jackson & husband Russ Jackson

Brother: Howard Avil

Grandchildren: Alyssa (Fyiheem) Still, Hannah Cassner, Taylor Cassner, Payton Cassner, Kyle O’Malley, Jesse Litzenberger

Great Grandchild: Lennox Still

 

Visitation:  Thursday, January 5th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Church of St. Elizabeth's, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA 19425.

Funeral Mass:  Thursday, January 5th at 11:00AM at the Church.

Interment:  St. Agnes Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Mass Cards would be appreciated.
