Chip was one of the hardest working men I've ever met in my life. Yet he would always find some time to stop by Cullis memorials and talk hunting or fishing with me. Even going so far is meeting me before the sun came up and we had to work and showing me good fishing spots, many times. He would even look for my truck and find me on the Stream late in the evening after work too. I think he was more excited about me catching the trout then I was. Myself and the Cullis family will miss him greatly. Mike Moravetz
RIP ...
Chip your voice lives on with us all... You and I had so many great talks about family, trucks, mechanical problems, fishing, boating and hunting.. I'll will never forget the days when I got myself stuck in the deep snow in the driveways where we hunt.. And how you always had the equipment to get me out.. Your truck was always equipped for Maine or the mountains. We strapped the come-a-long to pull me out...You will always be true to our family and our hearts.. when I am hunting or fishing you'll be with me brother. I've known chip for many years, trout fishing Ridley Creek, and helped stocking the streams and much much more. When I graduated the Ross Leffler School Conservation, chip and I were Deputy Wildlife Conservation officers assigned to Delaware County. Chips love for the outdoors wildlife habitat was unbelievable and true to his heart and family. Chip love to be in the woods hunting and fishing and shared that with his girls. Chip, I enjoyed so many years of watching your girls grow into the women that they become and the outdoors woman that they are today... I enjoy seeing the love they all have with their horses, their family and most of all they loved you!! You are always there for them and your darling wife who supported all that you did with your family. The opportunities that the girls got with hunting and fishing from your hard work will never be forgotten!!! May God bless you and your family.
Till we meet again !
Love you BROTHER

I worked at Cullis Memorials for 4 years. Chip was a regular presence. He was jolly, friendly, a hard worker, and a top notch service provider. We certainly all enjoyed dealing with him. I was shocked to learn of his passing today. I really would have had a hard time believing it if it weren’t for this obituary. He was great…
I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Chip for years I worked with his father in the 80’s and met Chip after his father’s passing we stayed connected as his girls grew into horse loving adults we would both brag on our girls and there horses throughout pony clubs, 4-H and veterinarian schools. The one thing that I knew about chip is that he had a great deal of love for his family. We will miss you Chip and give a big hug to your dad for me.
Good afternoon Marge (and family) I met Chip many years ago when I first started working with the Videon Funeral Home in Broomall. He was a good man with a good heart, a kind word for everyone and all of the families that we worked hand and hand with. I will miss him and his kindness. Tim Cislo Sr
I knew Chip as a good friend from elementary school into high school, but by the time we graduated, I had lost touch with him. Sadly, such friendships get lost to time and distance. Then last year my wife and I sold our home in Pennsylvania and moved to Maine. Chip messaged me in August (out of the blue) to welcome me to Maine. He was just as nice and friendly as I knew him in our younger years. I was unable to meet up with him the first couple of months we were in Maine because we were still settling in. We finally met up at the Penncrest Class of '73 reunion in October and dined together reminiscing about years past. He shared a memory of us in cub scouts, where my mother was the den mother who took the scouts to Ridley Creek to fish. He had a smile on his face as he shared that story because we all know Chip was an avid fisherman. When I shared that story with mom, she remembered Chip fondly, and has asked after him during our weekly calls.
Chip told me how he wasn't originally planning to attend the reunion, but said he was happy he made it as he wanted to catch up with me and my wife Ann. I am humbled by Chip making me a priority, because I got to renew a friendship with a truly nice person and I am saddened that he is gone from us so soon.

Marge and “His Girls”
I was shocked to hear of Chips passing. I hunted with his father and we shared the same love of hunting in Maine. I so sorry for your loss but know he left four very strong ladies to carry on the Miller legacy. I will not be able to attend the services but know my thoughts are with you.

Chip was and will always be that person one is privileged to have crossed paths with in life’s journey. He possessed that special ability to make a lasting impression, be it his business sense, knowledge of the outdoors or his fondness and love for his family. One would be hard pressed to to meet another person who expressed the pride in one’s daughters as he did. We will miss him, however he will certainly live on through the knowledge he passed on to his girls and the many stories shared by his friends and loved ones throughout the rest of our days. Till we meet again my friend.
God bless you all

Dear Marge and girls,
I am so sorry for your loss. Chip was an absolutely wonderful man. I am grateful my dad knew him for so many years, worked with him and was a constant and trusted friend of my parents. May you find comfort in all the memories you have. You are all in our thoughts.
Love,
Jess Eyrich
