Obituary of Jack "Chip" D. Miller

Jack D. “Chip” Miller, Jr., age 68, of Upper Providence Twp., Media, PA, died suddenly on Saturday, December 30, 2023, in Clearfield County, PA.

Chip had been a lifelong resident of Media, PA. He was a graduate of Penncrest High School, Class of 1973, and also attended Widener University. 

Chip, owner of Media Cemetery, began working there in his youth, until becoming owner. He was also the Superintendent of Chester Rural Cemetery for more than 25 years, where he also served on the Board.

Chip had been a Pennsylvania Deputy Game Warden for 25 years.

He was a longtime vacationer in the State of Maine in Bar Harbor and Thissell Pond.  Chip was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Most of all, Chip was devoted to his family.

Chip was a member of the Bartram-Sands Lodge #298 F&AM.

Son of the late Jack D. and Louise Evans Miller.

Survivors:

Loving Wife: Marge Dunham Miller

Daughters: Julia (Josh) Miller, Krystal (Ben) Jandzio and Jaclyn (Andrew) Oestreich

Granddaughters: Haylee Jandzio and Emma Oestreich

Visitation: Sunday, January 7^th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Masonic Service: Sunday, January 7^th at 11:45AM.

Funeral Service:  Sunday, January 7^th at 12Noon at the funeral home.

Interment: Media Cemetery.
