Obituary of Velma H. Cole

Velma H. (Vogel) Cole, age 90, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Lewes, DE, and a longtime resident of Garnet Valley, PA, died suddenly on Saturday, March 30, 2024.   Velma was a graduate of Ridley Twp. High School. 

Velma was a devoted homemaker and seamstress.  She enjoyed sewing, swimming, going to the beach and just being funny.

Daughter of the late Lawrence and Harriet Vogel; Wife of the late Samuel W. Cole, Jr., Sister of the late Audrey Glenn.

Survivors:

Daughters: April (Phil) Margera and Dawn (Scott) Grandstaff

Sons: Dan Cole and Matthew Cole

Grandchildren: Jess Margera, Brandon “Bam” Margera, Lindsay Flood

Great-Grandchildren: Ava, Scarlett, London, Juliette, Phoenix

Brothers: Lawrence Vogel, Ronald (Maryanne) Vogel

Also survived by nieces and nephews

Visitation: Friday, April 5^th after 11:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Family Sharing: Friday, April 5^th at Noon at the funeral home.

Interment: Middletown Presbyterian Churchyard.
