Harvey was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I enjoyed his jokes and his many adventures. Harvey always had a smile on his face and kind word. I will deeply miss Harvey. The clients that Harvey delivered to our just heart broken.

Little did I know when I accidentally backed up and stepped on a strangers toes way back in 1995 that it would be the beginning of a great friendship. In no time Harvey. Introduced me to his many friends who are now friends of mine. We would all go on trips together to Las Vegas or Atlantic City. Got a chance to meet Harvey’s Mom Mary on one of those trips. When his Mom passed I was surprised she requested me to.be one of her pallbearers. What an honor. Now I will be a pallbearer for my good friend Harvey. He will be missed. Rest in Heaven Harvey until we meet again.
Harvey was always first at the back door of Fish On Restaurant where we picked up our Meals on Wheels meals for delivery. Based on the time Harvey volunteered, I would estimate the he was directly responsible for the delivery of over 7,000 meals. Harvey will missed by all his friends at Meals on Wheels.
If you didn’t hear his infectious laugh before he told one of his many stories you weren’t paying attention! The fact is if you weren’t even thinking about feeling down he lifted you up. To have known him is to have known joy! So many great memories.
. I am sorry to hear about your loss.. I am a friend of Harvey and have not seen him in years. He moved to Rehobeth and I moved to Florida and we lost contact with each other.Harvey was always very friendly and very funny. He always had a good funny story and a joke or two. Harvey was a good man. He will be missed. I will pray for him.

Harvey was my friend, who always had a smile and was ready to make you laugh with a joke. I'm grateful for him and his generous, free spirit. I'll miss him. With condolences for all of his friends, family, and people close to him.

Harvey was one of the first people we met when we moved to Sterling Crossing 6 years ago and immediately became a dear friend. He always had a story to tell and had such a tremendous sense of humor.
I’m sure everyone is aware of Harvey’s love of flamingos, so when I saw a decorative towel with a pink flamingo on it, I had to get it for him. The saying on the towel was “ Don’t make me put my foot down!” It just seemed so apropos for our Harvey. He loved it and I adored him. It’s still hard to believe he’s really gone but I know he has so many friends who will remember him dearly.
In May of 2022, Maggie and I went on a River Cruise in Europe with Harvey, Dale and 3 other close friends. We had a wonderful time, lots of laughs, and we bonded with the group through shared experiences.
Jack Powasnik, invited us all to his house for dinner.. He cooked up a feast, and the star of the show was a fancy desert. Jack had taken a great deal of time preparing this multi-layered cake that tasted as good as it looked, it did at least until Harvey knocked his wine glass over, spilling red wine on this fantastic desert. I held my breath, not knowing how this would go over. Turned out nothing happened. The meal progressed without a hitch.
Harvey’s friends clearly loved him for what he was, a Wonderful Man, faults and all.
We miss you!!
Harvey, you left us too soon. Your charm and wit are the gifts you brought us. For many years you were the top member of our trivia group, the Village Idiots. If you didn’t have the right answer you would come up with a response that caused fits of laughter. You can now play trivia with the angels.
Thank you for caring for others in need. Your dedication to Meals on Wheels and being there for others in distress is your legacy.
Peace to you, Harvey.

Harvey's friends at Accent on Travel are so sad to hear this news. Harvey's always had a smile on his face and a kind comment to all. He attended our latest new office opening and wished us the best. He will be missed by many. Our condolences to the family. Annette Stellhorn and thr Accent on Travel team.
Childhood memories in Ivyland, the parades, church dinners, him attempting to teach archery to me (that didn’t go so well). Thanksgiving dinners with him, Aunt Sis & my mom. Laughing at the two “old ladies” as we lovingly called our moms (who grew up together in an Old Victorian home during the depression). A lifetime of memories that I will cherish forever! And deepest regrets for the plans we made for when I retire, that now will never come to fruition. I miss you & love you. Deb
