Obituary of Xavier A. DeMarco
Xavier Anthony "Sam" DeMarco, age 87, of Glen Mills, PA, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester, PA. Mr. DeMarco was born in Blue Anchor, NJ, and had been a resident of Broomall, Havertown and South Philadelphia, PA, before moving to Glen Mills, PA, 18 years ago.
Mr. DeMarco was a veteran of the US Army, serving as a Sergeant during World War II.
He worked as a Printer for 20 years, until his retirement in 1997. Previously he worked as a civilian with the US Marine Corp for 27 years, as a Supply Manager.
Mr. DeMarco was a former parishioner of St. Pius X, Broomall, PA.
He served as a volunteer at Riddle Memorial Hospital and for 10 years at Cardinal O'Hara High School.
He loved to read, and especially enjoyed putting together models of planes and boats. Sam was devoted to his family, and he cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
Husband of 29 years to the late Marian (LaScala) DeMarco; brother of the late Louise Stokes and Angelina DeMarco.

Daughter: Susan (DeMarco) Randazzo and her husband, Steven Randazzo
Granddaughters: Stephanie Randazzo Steer (Brendan) and Rachel Randazzo
