Obituary of Paul M. Micun
Paul M. Micun, age 63, of Aston, PA, died February 13, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family. Paul was a 1969 graduate of Sun Valley High School and a graduate of Widener University. Paul worked with the County of Delaware, retiring in June, 2014. Previously, he worked as an Aston Township Police Officer, for 33 years, and earlier with Scott Paper Company for 23 years.
Paul served as the past Fire Chief, and was a life member of the Green Ridge Fire Company.
He was a member and Past Master of the Chester Masonic Lodge #236 F&AM, a member and Past High Priest of the Chester Masonic Lodge Chapter #258 F&AM, a Past T.I.M. and member of the Riblah Council #59, Past Commander and Member of St. Alban Commandery #47, the Past Division Commander of the Grand Commandery of PA, a member by invitation of the Philadelphia Conclave Red Cross of Constantin and a member of Philadelphia Priory #12 KYCH.
While raising his children, Paul was active with the Boy Scouts serving as the Asst. Scout Master, and coached Aston Valley Baseball. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Paul cherished time spent with his family.
Son of the late Bruno and Elaine Franklin Micun; and brother of the late Marjorie Wheeler.
Survivors:
Loving wife of 34 years, Carol Scott Micun
Sons: Adam J. (Tracy), Joshua P. (Amanda) and Jeremy J. Micun
Daughter: Amy Micun -Cooke (James)
Grandchildren: Stephen, Caley, Brianna, Peter, Hayden, Cole, Nathan, Katie and Sophia
Sisters: Linda R. Michaels (Peter) and Barbara Jean Micun
Brothers: Bruno P. Micun, Jr. (Cathy) and Richard T. Micun
Also survived by nieces and Nephews
Funeral Service: Tuesday 11:00 AM, at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, PA.
Visitation: Monday 6:00 – 9:00 PM, where there will be a masonic service at 7:45PM and Tuesday after 9:30 AM, at the funeral home.
Interment: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA
