Obituary of John Koscinski

John Koscinski, 75, of, Media, PA died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Vitas Hospice, Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA. Mr. Koscinski was born in Wilkes Barre, PA; he had been a resident of Media for 48 years. He was a graduate of Hanover High School Class of 1953, where he excelled in sports. He participated in football, baseball, basketball and track. He received a football scholarship and graduated from Kings College. Mr. Koscinski served in the US Army for 2 years. He also served in Munich, Germany with the Military Police. He was employed as an Accountant at the US Naval base, Philadelphia for 33 years until his retirement. John was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA. He coached Media Little League and was a long time member of VFW Post #3460 in Media. He was a passionate sportsman and enjoyed sports and Fox News on television. SURVIVORS Wife of 52 years, Norma Novak Koscinski Sons: John W. (Lorean) Koscinski of Glen Mills and Paul J.
