Obituary of Lillian E. Chapman

Lillian Errol (nee Essex) Chapman, 98, of Media, PA and formally of Chevy Chase, MD, died Monday, June 16, 2014. Mrs. Chapman graduated from Western High School, Washington D.C., in 1933. She worked for 30 years with the U.S. Government, most of the time with the U.S. Navy Department, and retired as a Budget Analyst. Gardening was her favorite hobby. Lillian was the beloved wife of the late William Burson Chapman; sister of the late Gladys Post (Herbert), her twin Elaine Hutchinson (Edwin) and Vivien Mitchell (Dooly) Mrs. Chapman is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon in the Main Dining Room at Granite Farms Estates, immediately following the Memorial Service.
